Is the Bible really relevant with the level of suffering we are experiencing?

The World in Which We Live
Wars, rumors of wars, earthquakes, Tsunamis, disease and pestilence, bitterness, unforgiveness, anger, violence, pride, rebellion, sexual sin, addiction, sexual abuse, physical abuse, ritual abuse, neglect, abandonment, marital strife, depression, anxiety, dissociative identity disorder, post traumatic stress, the list goes on. Does the Word of God have any relevance in the face of such difficulties and challenges? We want you to know that it does. But it is going to take some time to unpack our answer because it is a complex question and an adequate answer is equally complex. In fact, our entire ministry seeks to answer two questions: (1) How can our biblical faith in Christ inform our physical, emotional, spiritual, and relational wellbeing and potentially impact our mental health? And (2) In what ways might the findings of interpersonal neurobiology benefit Christ-followers and we rest in a biblical faith that is by grace alone, through faith alone, in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit? You may be surprised at what we have to say. To find out more, read Stuart’s posts or listen to Stuart’s podcasts on Apple Podcasts, or Spotify.

The God We Serve
The Bible is God’s invitation to a relationship with Him. It is He Who holds all things together. Atoms. Molecules. The universe. And the human heart, mind and soul.
